For those members who assist in the management of the range or are interested in doing so, there is the Range Safety Officer ( RSO ) course. This course is designed to teach and developthe principles and practices required for the safe management of a range. Applicants are encouraged to persue courses in CPR and First Aid as well.

Once completed the student will be capable of supervising a range event and be aware of what is required to maintain safety, managing and motivating shooters, providing an enjoyable yet safe environment and dealing with emergencies should they arise. This course is only offered to senior members who have shown a very serious interest in the running of the range, demonstrated by their attendance at the range and the assistance involvement they have shown.
