1. Fully complete a SLSA application form and return it to a SLSA Executive Committee member with one passport photograph and a police certificate of character.
2. Upon reviewing your membership request, you may be invited to attend an interview with members of the SLSA Executive Committee.
3. Once the SLSA Executive Committee has approved your application, you undergo a probationary period of at least six months during which time the rules and regulations of the club, range procedures as well as the basics of shooting will be explained to you by a qualified instructor in the particular discipline chosen.
4. During this period, you will be expected to understand gun safety, rules and regulations of the club, range procedures as well as participating in the shooting activities under the direction of a range officer.
5. The SLSA Executive Committee will thereafter advise you on your eligibility for Full Membership with the Club.
6. Full Members with other shooting clubs, will be eligible for Full Membership with the SLSA.
